Peeling Velours

More than 70 years ago, having studied old traditions in the Far East, Lydia Daïnow developed her vegetable based peeling cure. Thanks to its unique effects, a special application technique and the right ingredients, this course of treatment brings about a decisive improvement in the skin texture so that under certain circumstances – even with unsightly scars – surgical intervention can be avoided. This welcome result is first and foremost the work of a paste now better known as Peeling Velours.
Peeling Velours is a select mixture of herbs, vegetable substances and vegetable juices — i.e. utterly pure natural ingredients to which a small quantity of alcohol is added. The special physical/chemical structure of Peeling Velours enables it to act something like a magnet and gently remove the two upper layers of callus without any irritation to the living cells. It is, therefore, the only peeling treatment that can be applied with full peace of mind to the area around the eyes.
The technique consists of a slow circular stroking rhythmic motion exerted with a touch of pressure. Where necessary, this massage type motion will adapt to the flow of the lymphatic drainage and be carried out on the smallest possible surface.

It gently removes the two upper layers of callus without any irritation to the living cells, stimulates the capillary blood circulation and so enhances the supply of oxygen and nutriments to the skin. This, in turn, activates cell metabolic processes, regenerating the deeper layers of epidermis, regulates the glandular activity and as such it’s highly recommended for both the dry types and the adipose types of skin.
